Lamentations 1:16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

Matthewe 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

Matthew 27:35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

-Andrew Strom. (April 24).

I am writing this in a remote village called Gwadidi on the far
Eastern point of Papua New Guinea. It has been such a blessed
time here. The meetings take place under tarpaulins lashed to
tree trunks taken from the jungle. As I write this during a break,
there is a dog sleeping under the pulpit. I guess it is the only
place he can get some peace!

There is no electricity here, so last night I preached under the light
of large kerosene lamps. But the old old gospel still has power –
electricity or no electricity. It is still only the blood of Jesus that
can cleanse and set men free.

Today I attended one of the most beautiful baptisms that I have
ever been part of. Eight local people baptized in a river in the middle
of the jungle. Vines and creepers and lush vegetation overhang.
The Christians filling the air with beautiful song. Tears of joy all

I am sleeping in a literal “grass”-type hut – but at least I have
“luxuries” like a foam mattress and mosquito net. Most everyone
else sleeps flat on the floor with no “luxuries” at all. As for the
‘toilet’ situation – you literally do not want to know!

Tomorrow, after eating the fatted Cassawary (a type of small Emu),
we depart for Samarai Island the same way we came – an exciting
blast over the sea in a “banana boat”. Lifejackets – what are they?!

But amidst all the primitive beauty and the loveliness of the people,
there is one thing that leaves me with a lingering sadness. Some
of the pastors have been telling me about an invasion of “new
media” from the West. It seems that as the cellphone coverage
expands over Papua New Guinea, with it has come an epidemic
of pornography – the downloading and swapping of “dirty pictures”
by the boatload. Already they tell me that this – plus the Western-
type TV programming – is having a noticeable affect. Some of the
young people are falling away. Others are becoming hardened to
the gospel. The temptations of the world are becoming seductively
destructive in ways that have never been seen before. Could even
a place like Papua New Guinea fall victim to the worldwide media
plague that has already claimed so many?

Repentance desperately needs to be preached here – and in many
other lands also. The harvest fields are still white, but the devil is
certainly aprowl. The hour has come, my friends, to “work while
it is yet day” – an hour that demands a matching cry – “Here I am,
Lord, send me.”

As in the Days of Noah
I was preparing the evening meal on April 23 and watching the television when the Portland, Oregon Blazer basketball team won a last-minute victory over the Dallas Mavericks which some sports pundits are calling the greatest comeback ever and nothing short of a miracle. All weekend long and oftentimes during the week, all we get is sports events and during the week it is the daily soap box drama in which people at home on a daily basis can easily become addicted just like other vices……..

What Have We Become?
I continue to be both saddened and disturbed by how many professional Christians there are today that are more interested in advancing their own ministries and agendas than they are the Word of God – and frankly, it shows because far too many spend their time and effort talking about we, me and mine – promoting and defending themselves, their feelings, their visions and their experiences with one another, week in and week out, rather than contending for the faith with Bible in heart and hand……

There is no place like home, at least for some Christians. In recent years the number of home-based churches and small group fellowships in the United States has risen exponentially. In January, Barna Research, found that about 11.5 million American adults – a full five percent -, say they attend a “house church or simple church, which is not associated in any way with a local, congregational type of church,” at least weekly or monthly. That number is up from 8.8 million adults in 2006….

The Bush Dynasty Laid Bare

Russ Baker shows that Decision Points is no candid memoir.
Investigative journalist Russ Baker updates what he uncovered in Family of Secrets about the Bushes with his responses to the former President’s best-selling book. In sum, Bush started a war under false pretenses, allegedly left the cockpit because of substance abuse, got fabricated religion in order to keep power, desired to invade Iraq even before his presidency, and works to set up his brother Jeb for the Presidency. Baker finds the Bush Family political system to be a brilliant con job, benefiting large wealthy interests, and being continued by Obama.

Obama’s ATF threatened with contempt charge
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, in a biting April 25 letter to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Acting Director Kenneth E. Melson, criticized the Director for failing to produce any documents in response to a subpoena issued more almost a month ago on March 31. The subpoena was issued after ATF and Department of Justice officials failed to cooperate in good faith with the Committee’s investigation, according to……..

“Another significant tornado outbreak will endanger many lives and property across the Arklatex and South later today. These are the same areas that were just hit by tornadoes Monday into Monday night. The Little Rock, Ark., area is at risk again today after multiple tornadoes, including one large twister, just tore through Monday night. “Tuesday and Wednesday will be particularly bad,” warned Expert Senior Meteorologist Dan Kottlowski last Friday. That statement is still valid today. Following Monday’s deadly tornadoes, all signs are pointing toward another outbreak initiating across northeastern Texas and southwestern Arkansas later today.” …

Officials and aid workers in Somalia’s Middle Shabelle region have raised the alarm over the plight of drought-stricken villagers urgently needing food and water”
A week ago or so I told you that most of the reports coming out are telling us these are the worse floods, the worse storms, the worse droughts, and so on. Here we go again. “We are experiencing the worst drought we have seen in decades; since the beginning of March, we have buried 54 people who died from the effects of the drought, seven of them today [20 April],” said Ali Barow, leader of the small town of Guulane, 220km northeast of Mogadishu, the Somali capital.” Keep in mind, what I am showing you is only the tip of the iceberg in this type of news….

“SCIENTISTS have warned that with increased levels of rainfall expected at wider intervals in the Caribbean, Jamaicans and others in the region should expect more floods and longer periods of drought in the coming years. “The Caribbean is projected to be drier as we go forward in the future. Though it is projected to be drier, there is an interesting line of demarcation that falls somewhere about Jamaica and above, depending on the season, where in the north it is projected to have more intense rainfall events, even as you we get drier,” revealed Dr Michael Taylor, head of the Climate Studies Group at the University of the West Indies, Mona. He was speaking at the Jamaica Conference Centre on World Meteorology Day, celebrated on March 23 under the theme ‘Flooding: Present and Future Threat’. The physicist was quick to add that “dry” does not mean there will not be any rainfall, only that rainfall would occur at wider intervals, albeit in greater quantities. And the result, he said, will be the projected increase in drought conditions, floods and possibly landslides.” …–droughts-coming-for-Jamaica_8576281

The Great Western Drought is Coming
California had near-record precipitation this year, and that’s a great thing. But things could always take a turn for the worse — and they will, according to a new water study from the Department of the Interior.

According to their research, climate change — that thing these twelve law- and opinion-makers refuse to believe exists — will result in a water flow decrease of up to 20% in the West’s largest river basin….!5795672/the-great-western-drought-is-coming

“Surging pork and beef costs will keep pressure on U.S. food inflation, which the Department of Agriculture says will rise 3 percent to 4 percent this year, the most since 2008. While the overall estimate for food inflation was left unchanged in today’s report, the USDA said prices for meat, poultry and fish will jump 5 percent to 6 percent, led by beef, which may climb 8 percent, and pork, which could gain 7.5 percent. The beef estimate was increased by 2.5 percentage points from March and pork was raised 1 percentage point. “I suspect when December arrives we will see increases of 4 to 6 percent” for the year in overall prices, said Bill Lapp, the president of Advanced Economic Solutions, an agricultural- research company based in Omaha, Nebraska. “The pressure on food prices is clearly on the upside,” said Lapp, a former chief economist for ConAgra Foods Inc.” ...

“A study by the Asian Development Bank finds that domestic food prices in many regional economies have risen on average 10 percent in early 2011. Xianbin Yao, director general of the Regional and Sustainable Development Department at the Asian Development Bank, says these steep price increases could push an additional 64 million people into extreme poverty. “Asia, despite its rapid growth, and it is still home to a majority of the worlds poor. We have about 900 million in this, absolute poverty. And, it is for this group of people, they are spending on about average two thirds, more than two thirds on foods. So, with a 10 percent increase on food prices their real income eroded,” Yao said.”

New important French article with JS at the center:
“In 1932 Aldous Huxley published “The Brave New World”, the anticipation of a world run by a tiny elite, where the majority of men, entertained and addicted only went even more account of deprivation of freedom that was theirs. In 1959, he admitted he was wrong, but only on the date of introduction of this nightmare: everything happened much faster than in his fiction. We are now in the beginnings of a New World Order that our elites promised us without hesitation it will be the best of worlds.

On September 11, 1990, President George Bush Sr. addressed the U.S. Congress in a speech marking a radical change in U.S. foreign policy, whose purpose was to be born that the U.S. president named for the first time New World Order:

“We stand today at a unique and extraordinary. (…) In these difficult times, our fifth objective, a New OrderWorld , can see the day: a new era, less threatened by terror, stronger in the pursuit of justice and more secure in the quest for peace. An era in which all countries of the world, whether in the East or West, North or South, can prosper and live in harmony. (…) Today, this new world is struggling to be born. A world quite different from what we experienced. ” …

The Tea Parties Now Have Their Man

After I wrote my last column, several Tea Party activists contacted me to let me know that they had not been “neoconned.” They made it plain in no uncertain terms that they would never support establishment neocon Republicans such as Newt Gingrich for the office of President of the United States. Most assuredly, I was glad to hear from these folks; I only wish my mail box had been swamped with such correspondence–it wasn’t! At this point, it may be helpful if I give a little history lesson. The Tea Party……..

I have important things to do, like destroy the country

By Dr. Laurie Roth
Why release the birth certificate nearly 3 years later? I and others have been asking for President Obama to put this growing controversy to rest for ages. It really wasn’t ‘silliness’ as he stated in his press conference on Wednesday the 27th, 2011. It was only what the demanding media and liberals requested and got from John McCain, also running during the last election cycle. Obama was AWOL with his. In fact, instead, he spent nearly 2 million dollars to hide all his records, College, Passport and Birth certificate. Naturally he had to do that simply because of our silliness and endless addiction to diversion and racism….

Gas Pains

You can’t make this up. First, a Spotted Owl destroyed the timber industry of the Pacific Northwest, then a minnow turned the most productive agricultural land in the world into a dustbowl, and now, as energy prices spike and the economy sputters, they’re going after Texas with a scurrilous reptile.

Specifically, the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard. That’s the latest more-important-than-people critter being used to lock-up resources in the name of planet Earth. The drilling moratorium didn’t cause enough pain, so onto the Endangered Species Act – known at the Sierra Club as “Ol’ Reliable” – to make certain Texas has lizard-filled poverty….

Hawaii Changes Rules on Birth Certificates to Accommodate Dictator Obama?
By Sher Zieve
In order to accommodate Dictator-in-Chief Obama’s inability or refusal to provide his long form (NOT the short form COLB that is provided for even foreign-born residents of Hawaii) birth certificate, in April the State of Hawaii changed it policy on ALL long form birth certificates. Former director of the Hawaii Health Department Chiyome Fukino—who had been under fire for apparently acting as Obama’s agent in refusing to release his long form birth certificate to anyone—announced on 10 April that Hawaii will no longer provide legitimate long form birth certificates to anyone who was actually born in Hawaii….

Gas Pains

By Tim Dunkin
It hurts, badly. We’re all feeling it, I’m sure. We wince every time we fill up. As the dial on the pump spins like that big wheel on The Price is Right, we can just see the money flying out of our wallets and into the coffers of big, expensive government where it will be thrown away and wasted like yesterday’s Mega Bean Burrito. Gas prices continue to rise, are in the process of topping $4.00 a gallon, and may even hit $5.00 before summer is over….

A truck loaded with honeybees crashed on Highway 220 in Wyoming Monday, bouncing 150-200 bee hives down the road. The bees made a nuisance of themselves until protectively-suited workers eliminated the problem. Aside from the rare bee-hauling semitrailer accident, the problem with honey bees are not their numbers, but in their lack thereof. Healthy honey bee colonies are tremendously important to farmers everywhere, but Colony Collapse Disorder has been threatening these valuable pollinators since 2006. Bees are not alone. Bats face the spread of a devastating disease in 16 states, to the concern of farmers. And while bees and bats, the farmer’s friends, struggle to stay healthy, the despised stinkbug returns from its winter hibernation and is expected to destroy crops throughout the East….

The world has no lack of totalitarian regimes that slaughter their own people. We are hardly surprised to read about the oppression and cruelty suffered by millions around the world. The irony strikes us, however, when these regimes intend to join the United Nations Human Rights Council. Like ivory hunters gathered at the elephant’s anti-poaching club, terror and human rights don’t mix well….
